  • Working capital loans to Mexican exporters, companies that aim to substitute imports, and importers of foreign raw materials
  • Amount:
    • Minimum required USD 3 million
    • Up to 100% of requirements for the purchase of raw materials, payment of production expenditures, and other services
    • Up to 85% of invoice value for equipment
  • Term: Up to 7 years with monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual payments
  • Provides financing for buyers of Mexican exports through financing guarantees to cover loans by commercial banks
  • Amount:
    • Automatic guarantee: Up to USD 250,000
    • Optional guarantee: Between USD 250,000 and USD 3 million (additional underwriting is required)
  • Credit terms:
    • Consumer goods: Up to 360 days
    • Intermediate goods, machinery components, and auto-parts: Up to 2 years
    • Transportation equipment: Up to 5 years
    • Capital goods and investment projects: Up to 10 years
  • Eligibility:
    • Financing of 85% of supply contract upon presentation of supply contract, statement of buyer noting that seller is not an affiliate, documentation that proves export happened, and credit authorization from lender
  • Capital markets guarantee: Guarantees totally or partially the payment of principal and interest associated with commercial paper at home or abroad issued by Mexican firms that are looking to finance certain investments with the proceeds of such transactions
  • Financing for Mexican companies: To further its goal of promoting investment in Mexico’s private sector, Bancomext provides a broad range of financing, letter of credit, factoring, and other financial products for Mexican companies, with specific products for SMEs, renewable projects, and other industries
  • Export credit insurance: Bancomext offers export credit insurance through CESCEMEX, a company in which Bancomext is a shareholder
  • PyMEx credit program for exporting and importing SMEs in amounts less than USD 3 million with low interest rates and long-term financing
  • Factoring program with financing up to 90% of invoice value
  • Online training programs for trade education to exporters
